Summer Adventure Camp and Outdoor Action Camp
The Rec is offering two different camps this year to help your kids enjoy summer break and beat
summer-time boredom! For kids grades entering K-5th. Camp Director, Whitney Haase, will ensure that your kid’s days are packed full of activities and fun!
Summer Adventure Camp – Starts Tuesday, May 30, 2017
Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 5:30 pm
Summer Adventure Camp is an all-day camp, all summer long! It’s a safe place for kids to get together for a summer full of games, races, cookouts, field trips, and water fun. Planned field trips include the Art Museum, Terre Haute Children’s Museum, the Marshall Pool, Terre Haute Bouncing Barn, Little Theater on the Square, Forest Glen Reserve, Turkey Run, and Charleston Pool. This camp is Monday-Friday with drop off and pick up times between 7:00 am and 5:30 pm. Campers must be registered for a minimum of two days per week. Register for as many sessions as you like! Participants will receive a free t-shirt. Campers who are registered for four or more days per week have priority on field trips.

Indoor/ Outdoor Action Camp-June 14 – July 21, 2017
Wednesdays & Fridays, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Participants must be dropped off at The Rec Center by 9:00 am. Parents will then pick up their camper at the same location by noon. This shorter day camp includes snacks, crafts, games, sports, and lots of playtime and playground fun.
