Membership to the REC has several perks including FREE fitness classes; FREE kid’s playroom time while mom and dad are working out; discounted program, class, clinic, camp, and league rates;  access to a Personal Trainer, Massage Therapist and MORE!

Open Door and Financial Assistance Information

Through our open door policy, the REC is able to offer discounts to families and individuals who find memberships a financial hardship. While we encourage family participation, please remember that children and students can enjoy their own memberships if mom or dad prefer not to join. It is the policy of the REC to provide services for anyone that desires to participate and understands the benefits of the REC, regardless of their ability to pay the standard membership or program fees. Those not able to pay full fee may qualify for programs or membership at a reduced rate based on their demonstrated need.  Assistance will be granted on the basis of financial need.  Family Income Guidelines will be used to determine level of assistance. The REC believes a strong sense of ownership and pride is developed if you contribute to the cost of your REC involvement, therefore, you will be asked to pay a portion of the membership and program fee. Each membership recipient is eligible for a percentage of assistance depending on income scale. Please remember that it is a privilege to be a REC member and that not everyone is entitled to a membership. Applications are available at the front desk or print online. All information is confidential.

The Rec Center offers Special Memberships at Certain Times of the Year

Special Memberships

Special 3 Month and 5 Month Memberships must be paid in full to begin.  These Memberships are not eligible for Financial Assistance or Open Door Support.


Full Access Day Passes allow Non-Members access to ALL the REC has to offer (this includes the Fitness Center, open gym time, and ALL fitness classes on that day).  Non-Members are also welcome to drop in for the REC’s Exercise classes for $5/class any day.

 All School District Employees will receive a %10 discount off monthly Membership Dues

When School employees join The REC, a family membership will become just $46.80 per month and an adult membership will become only $34.20 per month.  No join Fee!


Changes or Cancellation of Membership

Your signature is required to stop automatic bank withdrawals, change, or cancel your membership.  Changes include address and phone number updates as well as additions or deletions of family members to your membership.  Please stop by the front desk to fill out a Change Form.  Please note: Draft cancellations require a 30-day notice (or the maximum amount allowed by law).  Member is also responsible for all other collection costs.


Autopay Policy

Individuals registered for ongoing, monthly programs, such as School’s Out & Summer Camp, must be enrolled in the REC’s monthly bank draft program.
